First thing I have done is update the firmware to the latest available (package 11.0.1-0048, version 1.40.342-1650), I loaded a temporary windows host OS to do this and I am running the MegaRAID Storage Manager tool. I have an LSI MegaRAID 8888ELP SATA/SAS, I have 4 Toshiba 3TB hard drives connected, however the LSI is only seeing them as 2TB. I need to recover the files from those drives, but I first have to see the drives in Device Manager. I am just trying to connect SATA drives that were part of a RAID array. My LSI bios screen looks nothing like the one shown on page 15. So I am building my first SAN for my home lab. My controller is the LSI or Broadcom SAS 9207-8e non-raid SAS controller. ![]()
